Night Stocker is a literary vampire horror work in progress that explores career burnout and the struggles of young people in corporate America. An industrious but idealistic newly-grad, dreams of purposeful work in ornithology. When he's instead stocking shelves at a convenience store, he's disappointed to say the least, but still goes above and beyond. If juggling his work responsibilities, home life, and the dwindling job market weren't enough for him to handle, then fending off the blood-sucking monster behind the dumpster is the straw that breaks the stock boy's back. Steven must find a way out soon, or risk losing himself to the job or the creature, and he isn't sure which would be worse.
